On Thursday, August 17th, The Friends of the Seaside Public Library welcome guitarist, Wes Wahrmund.
The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room.
Cannon Beach musician, Wes Warhmund, will present an evening of solo-guitar in a variety of genres, featuring original compositions and improvisations. Wes draws upon influences ranging from Jazz to Classical to World Musics.
The recordings “Ituri,” “Speak Unity,” and “Swallowtail” display the rich musical tradition this talented guitarist has brought to the North Coast:
This will be the first in a continuing series of concerts by Wes at the Seaside Public Library.
Wes Warhmund began performing solo and in groups in Honolulu in the Seventies. His musical career took him from his island home to San Francisco, Portland, and, finally, the Oregon Coast.
Wes has performed and taught guitar locally for many years.
