Friends of the Seaside Library
Members of the Friends of the Seaside Public Library believe that a vibrant public library enhances community life.
The Seaside Public Library Friend’s mission is to foster community use of the Seaside Public Library; to assist the library in developing and implementing programs designed to enrich the literary and cultural life of the community; to sponsor and fund, or assist in the funding of, projects which are appropriate to the normal functions of the library, but are beyond the normal scope and budget of the library.
The Friends of the Library support all programs for children, teens, and adults at the Library. Your generous contributions help the Seaside Public Library enrich our community’s lives through educational and cultural programs. The Friends are dedicated to raising funds in support of the Mission of the library. Fundraising is done through the bookstore, memberships, and special sales. If you would like to join the Friends, membership fees may be submitted online or mailed with this printable form.
How to Donate to the Bookstore:
The bookstore accepts donations of books, CDs, DVDs, and magazines year-round. Please make sure all donations are in ‘like new condition.’ Donations may be brought to the front desk of the Library.
How to Volunteer at the Bookstore:
The Friends of the Library need volunteers to staff the bookstore, facilitate special booksales, and to help with fundraising events.
